Abstract

The Great Pyramid of Giza was called Akhet-Khufu, the Horizon of Khufu, by the people who built it. No mummy has been found in any of the three Giza pyramids, the chambers are bare, and the sarcophagus in the King's Chamber was placed during construction, too wide for any passage it would have needed to traverse. This paper proposes that the Giza complex is an architectural encoding of a cosmological system carried into the Nile Valley from the Green Sahara, and tests the dimensional component of that proposal statistically. Using only the six exterior dimensions derivable from a base of 440 royal cubits and a seked of 5½, the sixty-three Horus-eye (Wedjat) fraction sums, and the multiplication and division attested in the Rhind Mathematical Papyrus, the pyramid is scored against fourteen astronomical and calendrical values documented in the Egyptian record. Ten are reached within ±0.2%; four are not, and the misses are reported with their magnitudes. The result is tested against four independent null models. The designated primary test is tolerance-independent: downsampled to equal size, no rival historical fraction system — Egyptian unit fractions, Babylonian sexagesimal, or decimal — reaches the same score in twenty thousand draws. A negative control is also reported: the same monument, under identical rules, reaches stellar positions at exactly the rate chance predicts. Four targets were removed from the analysis for being reachable only by operations the specification forbids, each removal lowering the reported count. Nine falsifiable predictions are stated with their conditions of refutation. Analysis code and complete raw output are deposited alongside the paper for independent replication.
