STRUCTURAL REORGANIZATION THROUGH REINJECTED LEAKAGE IN THE CONTEXTUAL REDISTRIBUTION OPERATOR

Open access0 citations

Abstract

This document presents an extension of the contextual redistribution operator, denoted ORC. The ORC describes the local redistribution of a flux when a site saturates. The present extension treats the leakage of a site no longer as a loss, but as a transfer to another level. This transfer feeds an overload reservoir. When this reservoir saturates, it redistributes the surplus as structural modification of the conductances. A simple law is obtained: the surplus is converted into an increase of dissipation capacity, so that the sum of the leaks becomes equal to the incoming flux. The proposed distribution rule is proportional to the existing conductances. It has been validated on an asymmetric case with two unequal leaks. The first lock on multiple cycles, namely the connected saturated zone rule, is also formalized. This document is an intermediate consolidation, not the definitive version of the ORC.
