The genome sequence of the Bordered Beauty, Epione repandaria (Hufnagel, 1767) (Lepidoptera: Geometridae)

Abstract

We present a genome assembly from an individual female Epione repandaria (Bordered Beauty; Arthropoda; Insecta; Lepidoptera; Geometridae). The genome sequence has a total length of 848.25 megabases. Most of the assembly (99.82%) is scaffolded into 29 chromosomal pseudomolecules, including the W and Z sex chromosomes. The mitochondrial genome has also been assembled, with a length of 16.9 kilobases. This assembly was generated as part of the Darwin Tree of Life project, which produces genomes for eukaryotic species found in Britain and Ireland.
