In the age of digital evolution, where unprecedented quantities of user information flow incessantly across the Worldwide Network data have evolved from peripheral technicalities into cornerstones of a just, transparent, and accountable society. This work conducts an in-depth comparative study of data protection regulations across three distinct jurisdictions the European Union, the United States, and China examining the subtle interconnections between individual privacy, technological innovation, and the extent of governmental authority. The inquiry initiates with a rigorous analysis of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)across the European Union , an authoritative framework for Data Protection jurisprudence places paramount importance on data jurisdiction and informed consent as key pillars of privacy safeguarding.
