Abstract
The presentation titled “Digital Narratives, Culinary Identity and Cultural Engagement: Mapping Food Cultures in Contemporary Literary Contexts” explored the culinary representation of food cultures in contemporary literature. It examined how digital narratives and literary texts represent food as a marker of cultural identity, memory, tradition and social engagement. The presentation highlighted the ways in which culinary practices connect individuals and communities to their cultural heritage while also evolving through contemporary digital and literary forms. Overall, it emphasized food as a significant medium for expressing identity and facilitating cultural engagement.
