External Verification Checklist for the General Theory of Cognitive Structuring
Abstract
This document is a reviewer-facing audit instrument for the Version 2.0 General Theory of Cognitive Structuring (GTCS) corpus and verification package. It converts the procedural guidance of *How to Verify the GTCS* into concrete checks covering package identity, terminology, dependency and ownership, formal typing and partiality, stable results and proof status, synthesis integration, public claims, and package closure. Each checklist item identifies what is to be checked, the primary authority to consult, the condition under which the comparison is accepted, and the inference that remains prohibited even when the check succeeds. Review outcomes distinguish verified matches and verified boundaries from cases that are not applicable, require a source, require escalation, or fall outside the scope of the formal package. The checklist records verification work; it does not generate the evidence being checked. A completed checklist is not a truth judgment, theorem promotion, or empirical confirmation of GTCS. Its purpose is to leave an inspectable reviewer record linking each conclusion to the authority and scope actually examined.
