Technical Appendix for the General Theory of Cognitive Structuring: Notation, Assumptions, and Formal Dependency Structure

Abstract

This document provides the formal traceability layer for the Version 2.0 General Theory of Cognitive Structuring (GTCS) corpus. It consolidates typed technical objects, operator and predicate signatures, domains and codomains, partiality and definedness conditions, general versus local or optional specializations, stable-result cross-references, and boundary or non-promotion ceilings across the thirteen owner papers and the synthesis. The appendix is designed to make formal interfaces inspectable across documents without silently normalizing away owner-specific distinctions. It records the current public result references, the principal cross-node notation aliases, and the transfer restrictions that prevent a local construction, partial map, or scoped result from being reused at greater strength than its source permits. In particular, undefined or unavailable outputs are not identified with zero, falsehood, negative classification, conflict, or failure unless an owner source explicitly defines such an equivalence. The Technical Appendix is not a replacement for the owner papers and is not a complete proof compendium. It supports notation, typing, definedness, and cross-document traceability; detailed result statements and proof routes remain controlled by their dedicated verification documents and by the owner sources themselves.
