Abstract

Sound Light Information Continuum (v1.4) This paper proposes that acoustic waves (phonons), electromagnetic radiation (photons), and cognitive dynamics are not disconnected physical phenomena, but velocity-dependent phase-states of a single, substrate-independent Information Continuum. Key Framework Highlights: Physical and Mathematical Bridge: Sound and light are connected across 40 octaves of harmonic frequency scaling and unified under a single master field equation where phase velocity determines whether the field manifests as electromagnetic radiation (v = c) or longitudinal pressure waves (v < c). Cross-Modal Form Invariance: Demonstrates that structural Information Content remains invariant across neural, mechanical, and photonic state transitions, establishing information as a fundamental ontological primitive rather than a physical byproduct.
