Abstract

DECISION: REJECT ELEMENT: The filter "min confirmations >= 6" is a blunt count threshold, not a geometric timing constraint. It does not align with E8-node/Gods-Clock rhythm logic, which depends on phase alignment and polarity, not raw confirmation quantity. The backtest win-rate improvement (+9.6pp) is likely period-specific and may not generalize across regime shifts. The filter would disproportionately kill rizzy5m and wkjudas signals, which are core to the model's diversity and edge capture. The risk of overfitting and reduced trade frequency outweighs the modest win-rate gain. EXPECTED IMPACT: Win-rate might rise 2-4pp in the short term, but total PnL would likely drop 10-15% due to missed high-conviction low-confirmation entries. Over 3-6 months, the filter would degrade adaptability to fast-moving regimes. RISK: The filter is a static threshold, not adaptive to market volatility or signal quality. It would reject profitable entries during high-velocity moves (e.g., news spike Author: Andrew Stewart Caldin, Independent Researcher, UK. Part of the E8 Intelligence Research series.
