Validation of Hyperthermia: Activation of Superoxide Anion Radicals in Mitochondria induced Microwave and Radiofrequency (Far-Infrared) Energy Transfer

Open access0 citations

Abstract

Hyperthermia, which has been used in conjunction with various treatments most notably cancer therapy works by activating superoxide anion radicals; these are forms of chemical energy that accumulate within the mitochondria and endoplasmic reticulum, the engines of the cell. Consequently, this therapeutic approach facilitates the smooth progression of metabolic chemical reactions and drives the cellular metabolic process, effectively transforming the cells into immune-active cells.
