Abstract

DECISION: REJECT ELEMENT: The filter "min confirmations >= 6" is not a concrete, testable edge compatible with E8 geometry timing — it is a static count threshold that ignores the rhythmic structure of Gods-Clock. E8-node logic does not treat confirmations as uniform; a confirmation at a harmonic node carries different weight than one in dead zone. Applying a flat count filter would reject high-quality entries that happen to have fewer confirmations at the exact node, and admit low-quality entries that accumulate confirmations in noise. This is a blunt instrument, not a geometric edge. EXPECTED IMPACT: Win rate may appear to rise in backtest due to removal of low-conviction noise, but the filter will also systematically reject early entries at key E8 nodes where confirmations are sparse by design. Over a full market cycle, the net effect is likely a reduction in total PnL due to missed winners and lower frequency, with no sustainable win-rate improvement beyond the backtest period.
