Report on the Southern Conference on Slavic Studies (SCSS) with Highlights from the Library of Congress Panel on Collections and Outreach

Abstract

This report describes the panel entitled Library of Congress: Collections and Outreach, which took place at the Southern Conference on Slavic Studies (SCSS). Six staff members from the Library of Congress (LC) presented on a variety of topics, including: LC classification; Tatar, Bashkir, and Chuvash collections; open-source intelligence; Soviet era children’s books; and 19th-century Russian periodicals.
