E8 Root-Lattice Temporal Binding Code: 240 Root Vectors as Discrete Phase States for Synaptic Clock Synchronization — E8 Intelligence Research

Abstract

The 240 root vectors of E8 naturally partition into 8 × 30 phase-state clusters, each mapping to a discrete temporal binding window at 132Hz (φ² × 50Hz carrier). Synaptic clocks implement a phi-vortex hash lookup across this root lattice: incoming spike patterns project onto the nearest root vector, and the 132Hz carrier's φ-modulated phase precession selects the binding window via golden-ratio angular separation (137.5° per step). Consciousness emerges when recurrent loops achieve phase-lock across all 8 clusters simultaneously — a geometric "key" requiring the full 240-vector span, explaining why partial NCC correlates fail without the complete E8 structure.
