Retrospective Evaluation of Changes in Subfoveal CVI, Choroidal and Macular Thickness After Nd:YAG Laser Capsulotomy

Abstract

Aim: This study aimed to evaluate early postoperative changes in subfoveal choroidal vascularity index (CVI), subfoveal choroidal thickness (CT), and central macular thickness (CMT) after Nd:YAG laser capsulotomy performed for posterior capsule opacification (PCO).Methods: This retrospective study included 42 eyes of 42 patients who underwent Nd:YAG laser capsulotomy between January 2023 and May 2025. Biometric measurements were obtained using the RTVue XR SD-OCT device preoperatively and at 1 month postoperatively.
