Abstract

Responsible AI‑shaped curriculum redesign requires leadership that can balance innovation with academic purpose. This monograph emphasize that institutional direction, academic integrity, faculty preparation, governance, and long‑term planning are not optional considerations—they are the core leadership responsibilities shaping how AI enters teaching, learning, and assessment. As the document states, “Artificial intelligence is reshaping curriculum decisions in higher education, requiring leaders to examine how academic programs, teaching and learning, assessment, and institutional expectations respond to AI shaped educational changes.” Across the chapters, the work demonstrates that AI‑enabled curriculum redesign must remain anchored in institutional mission, program standards, and faculty readiness. Leaders must determine where AI genuinely strengthens learning outcomes, how policies guide responsible use, and how academic programs maintain quality as technology evolves. The monograph emphasizes that curriculum redesign and leadership process that requires clear objectives, coherence, and sustained institutional stewardship. This contribution offers higher education leaders a structured framework for examining AI‑related curriculum decisions while preserving the educational purpose of higher education.
