Abstract

FHAT Technical Note #007R: Final Multi-Stage Reconciliation of the August 12–14, 2026 SOXL Path — Terminal-Field Test, Pre-S3 Lower-Field Reversal, and Formal Epoch Closure (Version 1.1) Description This final results supplement provides the formal post-event reconciliation of the FHAT Technical Note #007 multi-stage research sequence for the Direxion Daily Semiconductor Bull 3X Shares (SOXL), covering August 12–14, 2026. The report evaluates the frozen prospective hypotheses and structural fields registered across FHAT Technical Notes #007 through #007E without retrospectively altering their original assumptions, thresholds, or scoring rules. Key findings include: Terminal-field activation and rejection: SOXL reached an intraday high of $154.13 on August 13, directly testing the registered $153.49–$154.46 ultimate resistance field before reversing. No acceptance above $154.46 occurred. Multi-stage downside transition: Following the terminal test, price moved through the registered first- and second-defense fields during the August 14 session. Pre-S3 Lower-Field Reversal: The August 14 low of $138.90 remained $0.79 above the registered $137.46–$138.11 S3 deep-support field. The reversal was supported by the geometric convergence of Daily MA60 ($138.61) and 1H MA200 ($138.57). Recovery close: SOXL rebounded 4.36% from $138.90 and closed the final evaluation window at $144.95. Session-specific support scoring: The $143.60–$144.50 first-defense field held on August 13 but was breached on August 14, preserving independent session-level outcome coding. Data reconciliation: The correct August 13 opening price is documented as $142.13. The previously reported $142.16 represented the August 12 closing price and is formally identified as a transcription error. Formal epoch closure: With the August 14 regular session finalized at $144.95, the TN #007 multi-stage sequence is formally closed and archived. Market action beginning August 17, 2026 must be evaluated under a newly initialized structural baseline. This document distinguishes structural similarity from exact path replication and preserves non-test classifications where registered fields were not directly reached. It is an independent technical research record, not peer reviewed, and is provided for educational and methodological purposes only. It does not constitute investment advice.
