Abstract

Manuscripts by this author carry a standing acknowledgment describing how they came about.That acknowledgment refers here for the one thing it cannot carry itself: which tools and models were in use, and when.A published paper freezes. The tooling does not. A model version named in a manuscript is accurate in the month of publication and historical a year later, and no journal article — including a future article about ECKART itself — can repair that, because freezing is what publication does. This note is therefore not a placeholder until something better appears. It is the permanent home for the part that has to stay current, and it is versioned for exactly that reason.
