Abstract

This research analyzes the pathophysiological mechanisms underlying the progression from gastric hypersensitivity to peptic ulcer disease. It focuses on the interplay of three key factors: chronic _Helicobacter pylori_ infection, non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug use, and chronic psychological stress. The paper explains how these factors disrupt the balance between aggressive and mucosal defensive mechanisms, leading to chronic inflammation, mucosal damage, and ultimately ulcer formation.
