Litote & Hyperbole: Artistic Research Protocol (2008-2026)

Open access0 citations

Abstract

First article of the Litote & Hyperbole trilogy. Establishes the ground of inquiry through documentation of the artistic protocol, corpus constitution, and longitudinal observation of transformations in the face and body over time. Approximately seventy video portraits have been produced according to the same principle since 2008, of which twenty constitute the primary corpus for analysis. The article is primarily descriptive and grounded in longitudinal observation. It seeks to document what the repetition of the protocol makes observable before drawing more general propositions from these observations. Theoretical references are mobilized as interpretive frameworks, but the analysis remains anchored in the phenomena encountered within the corpus.
