Employees working on the front lines of inpatient psychiatric care may face a disproportionate risk of workplace trauma, according to new research examining violence exposure among hospital staff, published this month in Psychiatric Services . Limited research has examined how violence exposure differs across professional disciplines and how such exposure affects staff members' well‐being, the researchers stated.
