VAFBM-2010-04: Archaeological and Native American Monitoring Report for the Coast Road Waterline Replacement Project, Vandenberg Air Force Base, Santa Barbara County, California

Abstract

This document is the archaeological and Native American monitoring report for the Coast Road Waterline Repair Project, Vandenberg Space Force Base, California. Archaeological monitoring for this project established that most of the ground impacted by the waterline construction was within soils that had been disturbed by prior road construction and maintenance, railroad construction and maintenance, and the placement of utilities. Furthermore, the archaeological sites within the APE had been previously tested and/or mitigated prior to construction for the Project. No cultural materials were observed.
