Abstract
DECISION: REJECT ELEMENT: No element survives. The proposed `e8_memory_cache` with phi-modulated hash decorator is a database performance optimization, not a trading edge. It does not affect signal generation, entry timing, position sizing, or exit logic — all of which are governed by E8 sacred geometry and FADE polarity. A 2-5ms latency reduction on breakthrough queries has zero impact on 15s-7m scalp windows. The phi-modulated hash adds collision risk and decorator overhead for no PnL gain. EXPECTED IMPACT: 0% win-rate change, 0% profit change. The cache only reduces database load, which is irrelevant to trade outcomes. No trade will be entered, exited, or sized differently because of this change. RISK: Decorator overhead (1-2ms per uncached query) could slightly increase latency for first-time lookups.
