The Folman Phase Spine and the Operator-Complete pi/8 Reference-Switch Test
Abstract
A passive coordinate seam is a negative control, not a physical reference switch. This paper develops a four-channel Gram-ratio test for an A1 reference switch. Its registered fork is simple: \[ H_{\rm std}:R_{\rm Gram}=1, \qquad H_{\rm QTT-A1}:R_{\rm Gram}=\cos\!\left(\frac{\pi}{8}\right). \] The new seam-no-activation theorem blocks a particularly dangerous false positive. A standard angular boundary term can change when a coordinate seam is moved; a physical terminal history cannot. If the candidate signal follows a passive seam, it is ineligible as both evidence for and falsification of the A1 branch. The published point targets, ratio orientation, calibration restrictions, ordinary-null controls, and original locks are preserved. The unresolved task is experimental: demonstrate a hardware-level physical distinction between the two terminal reference histories without programming the target into the apparatus.
