TUDCA regulated the TBI mice
Abstract
Due to the complex pathological mechanism and long-term effects of the course of traumatic brain injury (TBI), there is currently no specific treatment or medication available. Previous studies have found that taurine deoxycholic acid (TUDCA), a compound, can effectively alleviate symptoms of traumatic brain injury. However, further research is needed on the potential pharmacological mechanism of this drug. Method: Six mice were divided into TBI model group and TUDCA treatment group. The model group was induced by controlled cortical percussion. The TUDCA treatment group received intraperitoneal injection of TUDCA at a dose of 500mg/kg for 3 consecutive days after TBI. Then RNA seq technology was applied to sequence mRNA in the cortical tissues of 6 mice (3 per group).
