Q-Chain Analux: Quantum Resistant Cryptography Through the ADKI-512 Hybrid Key Identity

Abstract

This whitepaper proposes the theoretical framework for the Analux network built off of the Solana network, which aims to eliminate the risk of Cryptographically Relevant Quantum Computers being used by malicious actors to enact fraudulent activities such as discerning a private key from a public key using Shor's algorithm. This is done by using a hybrid key identity, ADKI-512, which merges the native Solana Ed25519 signature with the lattice-based Falcon-512 signature. The whitepaper demonstrates the economic plan for managing the excess compute that validators on the Solana network would be under by introducing a Dynamic Quantum Insurance Premium (DQIP). The paper also addresses real-world constraints such as network packet limits, validator compute costs, and exploits. The Analux Network aims to present a scalable blueprint for a quantum-resistant decentralized network.
