SYNTHESIZING BIO-FERTILIZER AND EVALUATING IT'S PHYSICO-CHEMICAL PARAMETERS.
Abstract
<strong>ABSTRACT</strong> <em>Bio-fertilizers add helpful microbes that aid in nitrogen fixation, nutrient recycling, and phosphorous breakdown. Since there is a growing desire for farming methods that donot hurt the environment, bio-fertilizers are a good, earth-friendly alternative to chemical fertilizers. They are a cheap, renewable way to give nutrients, and they are especially helpful for small farmers because they donot cost much. This study created a bio-fertilizer using organic waste from animals and plants and looked at what is in it. The bio-fertilizer was fermented without air for 60 days. Samples were taken in triplicate and tested to see how much of the big and small nutrients were inside. The tests showed that the bio-fertilizer has a pH of 8.31, an electrical conductivity of 6.42 Sm/cm, 28.83% organic stuff, 60% moisture, 16.72% organic carbon, a C: N ratio of 10.75%, and a cation exchange capacity of 26.50 eq/100g. The big nutrients in it were 1.56% nitrogen, 5167.83 mg/kg phosphorus, and 14986.70 mg/kg potassium. This bio-fertilizer also has small nutrients like B (21.92 mg/kg), Cu (20.91 mg/kg), Fe (30227.10 mg/kg), Mn (1153.25 mg/kg), and Zn (107.81 mg/kg). The data showed that the three samples were all pretty similar. The nutrient value of this bio-fertilizer is good enough to cut down on using chemical fertilizers. It is a great long-term, organic way to make soil fertile, keep farms producing, and lessen the bad effects of waste management on the environment.</em>
