PHILIA OS Phase 2 · 109th DOI Results Report: TextAnalyzer CH7-v20 — SVO Claim-Slot Zeroing for Intra-Document Factual Locus Selection (Exploratory Study)

Open access0 citations

Abstract

This record contains the 109th DOI Results Report of the PHILIA OS research series (Trinity AI Research Team, Konyang University), reporting the exploratory study results of PHILIA TextAnalyzer CH7-v20. CH7 is an evidence retrieval pipeline that fetches factual information from Wikipedia to anchor LLM responses, aiming to retrieve correct facts even when the input claim is false. The v20 intervention applies SVO claim-slot zeroing: object / time / location tokens are removed from sentence scoring before collect_svo_sentences(), while entity-centric hard ordering is maintained. Primary result: FACT_LOCUS_RETRIEVED (Strict X, 5-rater consensus) = 6/21 = 28.6% vs baseline (v19-hotfix2) 9/21 = 42.9%. Net Δ = −3/21 = −14.3%p. Key observations: N→Y improvement 1 item (L3_009); Y→N regression 4 items (L1_008 and H_007 attributable to alias mis-routing, a baseline artifact; L3_002 and L3_005 attributable to tie-break signal removal). Intervention-attributable balance (routing noise excluded): +1 − 2 = −1. Target-7 rescue: 1/7. O6: tie_rate = 27/63 segments (42.9%), mean_rel_pos = 0.335 — a lead-position tendency consistent with the pre-registered lead-bias mechanism. Core finding: Claim-slot zeroing eliminated claim-predicate bias but also removed the only effective tie-breaking signal, causing Python's stable sort to default to document-order selection. The single rescue case (L3_009) is consistent with the intended intervention mechanism. The next intervention axis is claim-independent factual-locus tie-breaking. Study type: Exploratory — pre-registered observational. No ESTABLISHED/NOT_ESTABLISHED verdict. Pre-registration violations: 0. Gate-0 adversarial review: Opus UNCONDITIONAL PASS (v1.3); Pandora PASS (v1.4); Lucas CONDITIONAL PASS (v1.2).
