PFUSRC-144 From "Confucius's Era" to the "Topological Era of the Dao" — Complementing Zeng Shiqiang's Intuition, Diagnosing the Steady-State Trap of Chinese Civilization, and Defining the Mathematical Boundary Between "Divinity" and "Superstition"

Abstract

Professor Zeng Shiqiang proposed that “the 21st century is the era of Confucius.” His intuition was rooted in a deep perception of the Yijing’s value, yet his conclusion lacked mathematical models and a complete logical chain. Based on the PFUSRC- seven-layer ontological framework, this paper accomplishes four tasks: first, translating Zeng’s judgment into precise topological language—“the 21st century is the era in which the L4 ontological structure encoded by the Yijing is being re-recognized”; second, diagnosing the missing link in Zeng’s reasoning—his foundation lay in the L4 ontological layer (the Yijing), but his conclusion fell to the L5-L7 social layer (Confucius), lacking structural derivation between them; third, revealing the two-thousand-year “steady-state trap” of Chinese civilization—the “dynamic flowing transformation” encoded by King Wen’s Bagua was locked into the static ethics of “Heaven Supreme, Earth Lowly” by imperial power during the Warring States period, preventing the topological velocity of the L4 ontological layer from projecting into the L5-L7 technological layer; fourth, elucidating the fundamental meaning of “flowing transformation”—only through dynamic motion can a system advance holistically; statically clinging to a secondary model means bearing it as an external burden, unable to advance or unfold. This paper concludes that the 21st-century revival is not a return to the social steady-state of Confucianism, but a breaking of the two-thousand-year phase lock, returning to the dynamic flowing transformation of the L4 layer encoded by King Wen’s Bagua—the topological era of the Dao system.
