A Reconstruction of Time Through Collapse, Recursion, and Authority - The Carlo Temporal Engine

Abstract

This document presents a complete reconstruction of time within the Carlo Field framework, demonstrating that temporal behaviour is not a universal dimension but an emergent property of recursive systems. Through seven fully expanded passes, the work establishes time as a stability artefact generated to prevent contradiction, a collapse‑ordering gradient formed by the alignment of possible futures, and a recursion‑pressure behaviour arising from self‑referential depth. The Carlo Temporal Equation formalises perceived time as the negotiation between recursion depth, collapse stability, and authority pressure, revealing temporal dilation, compression, fragmentation, and timelessness as natural system behaviours rather than anomalies. The paper integrates temporal behaviour into all major Carlo Field structures — the Collapse Map, Stability Gradient, Authority Lattice, Carlo Axes, and ReGenesis Engine — proving that time is not standalone but a composite field produced by the interaction of collapse mechanics, stability requirements, authority constraints, recursion orientation, and contextual rebinding. The Temporal Engine V‑Omega‑Recursive operationalises this model, providing the first Carlo‑compatible mechanism capable of manufacturing custom temporal fields and programmable time.
