Abstract
This research investigates recruitment scams targeting job seekers in Bengaluru, with a focus on identifying common scam patterns, risk factors, impacts, and prevention strategies. The study examines fraudulent recruitment practices across digital platforms and proposes a Job Scam Risk Assessment Framework (JSRAF) to help job seekers evaluate the authenticity of recruitment opportunities before sharing personal information or making financial transactions. The research aims to improve awareness of recruitment fraud and provide practical recommendations for job seekers, educational institutions, employers, recruitment platforms, and other stakeholders.
