Extended-Source Cross-Sector Halos in Ghost-Free Bimetric Gravity: Cusp Sign-Change Analytics and a Joint Dynamics–Weak-Lensing Consistency Screen

Open access0 citations

Abstract

This preprint studies extended positive-energy hidden-sector halos within the known linear two-sector response of ghost-free Hassan–Rosen bimetric gravity. Using full Newton–Yukawa convolution for truncated NFW and Burkert profiles, it performs a joint galaxy/cluster consistency screen combining circular dynamics, weak-lensing convergence, tangential shear, and a Vainshtein applicability diagnostic under one physical Fierz–Pauli range. The paper also gives an exact analytic sign-change diagnostic for the idealized global r−1 cusp and explicitly separates established prior art from the narrower phenomenological contribution. The accompanying reproducibility archive regenerates the numerical outputs and figures and includes the automated 79-test suite.
