MODEL ADOPTION #853: REJECT — TG AUTO: New edge proposed: ats_fail_test_dealer_range — E8 Intelligence Research
Abstract
DECISION: REJECT ELEMENT: The "failed buy-stop sweep" logic is not compatible with E8 sacred geometry timing. E8 scalps on 15s–7m harmonic intervals, not on a fixed 15-minute London open window. The candidate's trigger window (0800–0815 UTC) is too narrow and rigid — it would miss the vast majority of E8's active trading sessions and introduce a time-dependent constraint that breaks the rhythm logic. EXPECTED IMPACT: Zero net gain. Over the current trade window, the edge triggered zero times. Over 3–6 months, it might add 10–20 entries, but those would compete with E8's existing entries, likely increasing noise and reducing the model's harmonic coherence. Win rate would not improve because the edge is redundant with E8's existing fade logic (which already catches false breakouts via polarity detection). RISK: The edge would force the model to wait for a specific time window, causing missed trades during high-probability E8 windows outside London open.
