Abstract

DECISION: REJECT ELEMENT: No single rule survives hostile scrutiny. The Fib pullback entry (0.618–0.786 zone) is a lagging structure — it requires price to retrace *after* a move, which directly conflicts with E8's rhythm-based entries that fire *before* or *at* the turn. The 6.8% win-rate on h1 is catastrophic for a scalping swarm that depends on high-frequency, high-probability triggers; a 93.2% loss rate would destroy the model's equity curve within weeks, even with +101.5R total — because the swarm's position sizing assumes >40% win-rate. The 1.272 TP is a fixed extension, not adaptive to E8 sacred geometry targets, meaning it would frequently exit before or after the node-defined reversal zone, creating systematic slippage against the swarm's edge. The "lookback 50" parameter is arbitrary and not derived from any harmonic or cyclical logic — it will fail in regime shifts (e.g., gold's 2020–2022 volatility expansion). The strategy is a trend-following relic that works only in pers Author: Andrew Stewart Caldin, Independent Researcher, UK. Part of the E8 Intelligence Research series. Platform: e8intelligence.com
