DECODING THE FOURFOLD VOYNICH CIPHER - Voynich Folio 57v
Open access0 citations
Abstract
Folio 57v (f57v) of the Voynich Manuscript (MS 408) has long been recognized as a critical diagnostic hub due to its prominent circular diagrams and unique repeating text strings. Historically, the absence of extensive repetitions across the entire codex has frustrated standard cryptographic attacks. This paper presents a complete and verified transliteration of the f57v volvelle, demonstrating that its outer textual ring comprises a fourfold repeating sequence with controlled morphosemantic Latin-script shorthand contractions.
