ProfitPilot: Agentic AI and Multi-Agent Systems in Enterprise Analytics and Autonomous Systems - A Literature Survey

Abstract

ProfitPilot is an autonomous, multi-agent AI system designed to manage the end-to-end profit optimization cycle—from data integration to actionable decision-making—for product-based businesses. The system deploys four specialized AI agents working in a coordinated workflow: a Data Collector that integrates across ERP, e-commerce, and accounting platforms; a Data Processor that calculates true multi-dimensional profitability across products, channels, and customer segments; an Analysis & Representation Agent that detects statistical trends, anomalies, and hidden opportunities; and a Business Tactics Engine that utilizes RAG-based knowledge retrieval to generate validated, explainable profit optimization strategies. By combining automated pipelines, state-managed orchestration, and feedback loops for continuous learning, ProfitPilot replaces manual, reactive reporting with proactive, prescriptive business guidance.
