Open access0 citations

Abstract

At the 62nd Meeting of the Asia Pacific Advanced Network (APAN62), taking place from 10–14 August 2026 in Tāmaki Makaurau / Auckland, DataCite Community Specialist Mohamad Mostafa will give a virtual presentation introducing DataCite as a global open persistent identifier infrastructure and highlighting its role in supporting DOIs for research outputs through open and connected metadata. The presentation will also introduce DataCite’s new service-oriented membership model and the APAN–DataCite Consortium as a pathway to more equitable and sustainable access to open research infrastructure, supporting wider adoption across the Asia-Pacific region.
