Historic American Buildings Survey (HABS NJ-1272), Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, Lakehurst Lighter-Than-Air Historic District [Final]

Abstract

The U.S. Air Force contracted AECOM, Inc. to complete HABS Level II documentation of the Lighter-Than-Air Historic District at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, Jackson and Manchester Townships and Lakehurst Borough, Ocean County, New Jersey. The study was completed in accordance with Section 110 of the National Historic Preservation Act and National Park Service guidelines. The contributing elements of the District were constructed between 1919 and 1962. The documentation includes a historic report, site maps, original site drawings, and a photographic index.
