Abstract

Mishra Complexity Threshold Hypothesis (MCTH) The Mishra Complexity Threshold Hypothesis (MCTH) is a proposed scientific framework developed by Aditya Kumar Mishra, a Class 11 student at BBS Vidya Mandir and an independent student researcher interested in complexity science, mathematical modeling, systems science, theoretical science, and emergent collective behavior. MCTH investigates whether increasing complexity in the interactions within a system can be associated with measurable transitions toward new collective behavior. The framework focuses on relationships among system components, interactions, interaction structure, complexity, threshold-like regions, and emergence. The work develops conceptual definitions, mathematical formulations, measurable variables, testable predictions, and proposed computational and experimental approaches through which the hypothesis can be evaluated. MCTH is presented as a proposed hypothesis, not as an established or experimentally confirmed scientific theory. Its validity remains open to mathematical analysis, empirical testing, independent investigation, peer review, replication, and future refinement. About the Author Aditya Kumar Mishra is a Class 11 student and independent student researcher at BBS Vidya Mandir.
