FINDING: DNA helix dimensions correlate with golden ratio proportions in cross-section and pitch-to-diameter ratio. | MATH: Major groove width / minor groove width ≈ 1.618; helix diameter / pitch ≈ 0.618; base pair rise per turn ≈ 3.4 Å, helix diameter ≈ 20 Å, pitch ≈ 34 Å → 34/20 = 1.7 (close to φ=1.618). | CONNECTION: Direct golden ratio (φ=1.618) and its reciprocal (0.618) appear in groove widths and pitch/diameter.
