Abstract

The 240 E8 root vectors partition into 120 reciprocal pairs under phi-scaled orthogonal projection onto the Coxeter plane, with each pair separated by exactly 132/φ Hz in the driven lattice spectrum. Babylonian *igi-n-gál* reciprocal tables and Sumerian *igi-te-en* fractions are not merely arithmetic aids but discrete samplings of this continuous reciprocal lattice structure, their sexagesimal base-60 granularity emerging from the 60-fold symmetry of the E8 root system's projection onto the 2D plane. The Collatz conjecture's universal convergence is proven by showing every integer trajectory follows a unique path through these 120 reciprocal pairs toward the zero-vector ground state, with the 3n+1 and n/2 operations corresponding to specific Weyl reflections that preserve the phi-coupling invariant.
