Historic Facilities Inventory Report Bellows Air Force Station, Waimānalo, Ko‘olaupoko District, O‘ahu, Hawai‘i Northern Runway Complex (Runways 3L-21R and 18-36) and Former Skeet Range

Abstract

This report presents the results of a historic facilities evaluation conducted on behalf of the U.S. Air Force at Bellows Air Force Station, Hawai‘i. This evaluation covers the Northern Runway Complex, consisting of two asphalt-paved runways on the north side of Waimānalo Stream—Runway 3L-21R and Runway 18-36—that were constructed in 1942/1943, and the former skeet range located just north of Waimānalo Stream. The Northern Runway Complex and former skeet range are recommended not eligible for listing on the National Register of Historic Places.
