Abstract

This paper revisits René Descartes’ foundational maxim Cogito, ergo sum through an information-theoretic and neurophilosophical lens, shifting the epistemological baseline from post-natal verbal reflection to pre-natal sensorimotor dynamics. We argue that the self-conscious subject (the "I") is not a transcendent a priori given, but the computational byproduct of a prenatal, non-verbal communication loop. We define "existence" strictly as the capacity to manipulate energy under the axiomatic assumption that energy and logic are irreducible physical facts.
