Emergent Electromagnetism from the Gauged Logarithmic Superfluid Vacuum

Abstract

This release removes the charge-quantization claim of the previous version: the vortex winding number is a topological index, not the electric charge, and the earlier identification conflated flux quantization with charge quantization. The paper is refocused on the results that stand — emergent Maxwell equations on the acoustic metric, the exactly achromatic photon, the proof that the gauge coupling cannot act on the bulk vacuum, and the resulting universal-gravity/selective-electromagnetism asymmetry.
