Transcriptome and 16S rRNA Gene Sequencing of Grass Carp During Dietary Transition

Abstract
This project contains transcriptome and 16S rRNA gene sequencing data from juvenile grass carp (Ctenopharyngodon idella) during dietary transition. Intestine and liver tissues from the NDT, HERB, and CARN groups were subjected to RNA sequencing. Intestinal contents and the associated diets, including brine shrimp and duckweed, were analyzed by 16S rRNA gene amplicon sequencing. The RNA-seq libraries were sequenced on an Illumina HiSeq 2500 platform, whereas the 16S rRNA gene libraries targeting the V3-V4 region were sequenced on an Illumina NovaSeq 6000 platform by Gene Read Technology Co., Ltd. (Wuhan, China).
