Ethical Ontology, Volume II — Title-Location Collateral Audit Protocol V1: A Secondary, Separately Registered Audit Applied to the Registered Episode Sample

Abstract

This protocol registers, in advance of any classification, the criteria for a secondary audit conducted alongside Volume II of Ethical Ontology. Volume II's primary trial concerns the sacred-economic structure of a fixed historical sample, publicly registered on 1 August 2026. This protocol governs a different question put to the same sample: whether any registered episode discloses a beneficiary counting within an ontological inventory or constituted phenomenality on a warrant whose seat lies elsewhere — the relation named in the doctrine Being by Proxy. The question was formulated after the sample was fixed. A question that arrives after its sample cannot be governed by the registration that fixed the sample, and reading the primary preregistration as silently covering it would make silence an amendment mechanism. This document therefore registers the collateral audit separately, before any episode is classified under it, so that a reader can check the criteria against the verdicts rather than reconstruct the criteria from the verdicts. The protocol fixes: the four places any positive case must supply (title, holder, beneficiary, appearing on another's warrant); six binding guards, including that the holder need not be an entity, that title-location is distinct from title-legitimacy, and that distinctness of office does not require separability of exercise; seven controls — courtesy, institutional status, representation, office, recognition, grounding, sacredness — none of which alone establishes the relation; a six-step sorting instrument on which underdetermined sources yield a candidate or non-assessable verdict and never a charitable positive; seven verdict codes, including one recording that a question was not tested, so that silence is never read as a negative; and a contamination rule requiring each collateral sheet to be written only after that chapter's primary analysis is closed, with any chapter whose primary verdict moved afterwards declared void. The audit selects nothing and amends nothing. The registered sample is unchanged, no primary verdict may be adjusted to make a collateral classification available, and a result of zero further instances is admissible and will be printed as a result.
