Evoltropic Theory: An Emergent Framework for Time, Gravity, and Light Propagation

Abstract

This paper introduces Evoltropic Theory, a discrete causal framework in which time, gravity, and light propagation emerge from the dynamics of a static granular Evolution Network rather than from a fundamental spacetime manifold. The theory postulates that physical reality consists of a three-dimensional lattice of Evolution Nodes possessing finite Evolution Capacity. Matter continuously consumes the local Evolution Capacity, reducing the local update rate of physical processes. Differences inupdate rate generate an Evolution Current that governs the emergent behaviour of matter and radiation.Within this framework, time is interpreted as the measurable consequence of local update rates rather than as a fundamental dimension. Gravitational phenomena arise from gradients in Evolution Capacity and the resulting Evolution Current, while light propagation is described through an emergent optical principle based on local forwarding delays andcurrent-induced directional drift. The present paper establishes the foundational postulates, mathematical framework, and conceptual structure of the theory. Detailed dynamical derivations, numerical simulations,and observational comparisons are reserved for subsequent work.
