Scholarly Impact of Online Mental Health Research Among South Asian Youth Compared to Elsewhere

Abstract
Bibliometric analysis of the top 100 most-cited Web of Science articles on online mental health content among South Asian youth. Of 672 initial results, 168 were screened as relevant and ranked by citation count. A Mann-Whitney U test revealed a statistically significant difference in citation distributions between South Asian-led (n=65) and non-South Asian-led (n=35) articles (U=755.5, p=.006), with South Asian institutions producing higher publication volume but lower median citations (7 vs. 16).
