Some Flexible Probability Models with Biomedical Applications

Abstract
Abstract. This paper introduces a novel generalization of selected probability distributionsusing the weighted distribution approach. The fundamental statistical properties of theproposed model are derived and investigated in detail. Its practical applicability isdemonstrated through the analysis of real biomedical datasets, and its performance is evaluatedagainst several existing probability distributions. The results show that the proposed modeloffers a flexible and efficient framework for modeling real-world data, providing improvedgoodness-of-fit and enhanced capability in capturing diverse data characteristics.
