VAFB-1980-16: RE: HDR-Vandenberg Archaeological Project Proposed Gatehouse Construction

Abstract

This document is a letter report regarding adverse effects testing and National Register of Historic Places (NRHP) evaluation for CA-SBA-1036 at Vandenberg Air Force Base, California. This study was done in support of Gatehouse construction for the MX Facilities Project. Surface collection, 4 test excavation units, and 16 shovel test pits were completed. The site was recommended eligible for the NRHP and would be adversely effected by the project.
