Abstract

Technological University Dublin's CoARA Action Plan V2. Between April and July 2026, Technological University Dublin, through the work of its CoARA Steering Group, undertook a comprehensive review of the commitments and actions set out under the Coalition for Advancing Research Assessment (CoARA) Action Plan published in September 2024. progress against. This process involved evaluating actions implemented to date, assessing achievements and challenges, identifying areas requiring further development, and considering emerging priorities in research assessment reform. Drawing on the findings of this review, the Steering Group revised and updated the University's CoARA Action Plan, refining existing actions, introducing new measures where appropriate, and ensuring continued alignment with CoARA principles and the institution’s strategic objectives for responsible research assessment. The updated Action Plan provides a renewed framework to guide implementation, monitor progress, and support ongoing cultural and organisational change in research assessment practices. This Action Plan has been formally endorsed by the University's Research & Innovation Academy.
